I happened to go to an organic supermarket named EarthFare and saw a food market right next to it. I've never been to a farmers market, so as sad as this might seem I was SUPER excited to see a place where people sell home grown food, veggies, spices and there were other things like jewelry and antiques and photography of the Boone landscapes and animals. From what I hear this market is a smaller version of a huge one in Boone. I met a lovely couple there and we just bonded and shared our experiences. Even though we had different beliefs, we shared the love for nature and a true respect for one another. I am certain that God led me to them but I don't know how and why....Have you ever had that feeling when you meet someone that it isn't a coincidence? you feel something but you don't know why.....that's what this was. Lovely couple none the less! and they gave me a beautiful gift! Here are some pictures!

SUMMER 2010
First of all i would like to say....HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!
Hope everyone is staying safe! (yeh right)...but someone had to say it <3
Here is what I've been up to this summer!
1. I got more connected with God and I must say......WOW he has definitely changed my view on life.A sense of peace that I have never felt before, and he has sent many people in my life to guide me in my journey and for that I am forever grateful.
2. Summer Classes
Yeah....it was tougher than I expected but i still got some time to relax so it was all good. Soooo enough about me and more to the cool people I met and the awesome experiences I had with friends!
3. New Bern & Warsaw!
New what? and war saw who? Excuse my ignorance for those who are familiar with these places but I didn't even know these cities existed until my friend invited me. So one evening I'm working on my project/day dreaming when my friend came and said "Hey I have an interview at Newbern and Warsaw, do you want to come with me?" and I said "Sure!" and the adventure BEGAN!
NEW BERN
Did you know this used to be the capital of North Carolina?
Really beautiful place! New Bern was originally a Swiss settlement and is named after the capital of Switzerland, Bern. I just realized a lot of places in the U.S. are named after many places in Europe...just with a little tweeking....like adding "New" in front of it. Like New York!
New Bern is also the birthplace of Pepsi! pretty cool huh!
These are some of the pictures I took there!
Friend & I at the deck
One of my favourite graduate students!
Historical Figures painted on fire hydrants! Cool!
Warsaw was also very interesting! We didn't get a chance to go sight seeing because of the hurricane but I managed to get this pic
Check it out in Photoshop world.....trippy...
